Q) What do you need to produce stunning portraits of kids?
A) Some water softly lit by a setting sun & a few rocks & a log!!!
As you can see we all had a great time at this shoot, Connor, Callum, Erin & Quinn had an absolute ball.. Michelle & Andrew (the parents) weren't so excited about the muddy feet & bums going back in the car, but the result was so worth it......

A kid isn't being a kid without muddy feet and a wet bum! I say throw the parents in there for shots of them playing with the water, the log and remembering how amazing it is to be a kid! Then they'd have stunning photos of themselves as well! :-)

We did shoot the parents with the kids as well, we have have fantastic shots of the Dad skimming stones, makes for very special images.
I have photographed this family before so it was good to update their portraits with images that are reflective of the kids ages & interests, as you can see we had a great time...
