Maddi: the years pass so quickly !!!!!

16 years have passed so quickly, without images we would not remember so many of the very special milestones & moments....

This morning I was chatting with Stella, the mum of Chloe & Gemma (a few of their images were posted earlier today) about how much I love looking back at images of my children & how invaluable these images are...

I have not long downloaded the images of Maddi (our daughter) the ones in the blue dress, I took these quickly yesterday afternoon following a hair & makeup trial by Sarah at FMG Hair, Margate.

Looking through these images I've posted reminded me of how quickly the years pass....and how important it is too have images to remember the magical moments....

NB: about personal images: it is extremely important not to just have images on computers and/or hard drives, make sure you get them printed....Weekly we hear the horror stories of images that have been lost & not been retrieved...

I love that our studio is one street from the beach & we have this fantastic location so close....This was the perfect location for Kaitlin & Teagans shoot, we all had a great time...

I can't wait to see the finished images, Shane & Siggy have decided on three one metre long panaramas to be featured on one of the walls in their home... There will be one each of Kaitlin & Teagan individually, & one of the girls together.... it will look absolutely spectacular...

Chloe & Gemma are absolutely gorgeous little girls, I first photographed Chloe when she was Gemma's age, it is always a spin out to see how much the kids have changed between shoots...

As always we had a great time, lots of laughs & lots of beautiful images.....

PS: Happy Birthday Chloe !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you have a great party.........

These guys were/are a scream, I have about 20 favourite images from this shoot, thought I'd share these few, I think my absolute favourite (as a dad & photographer) is the one of Craig & the boys, this is a very priceless moment...

We got some awesome shots of Julie & Craig sharing a moment on the beach as well, what the image doesn't /didn't show is the boys going nuts in the background....

I had problems shooting cause the camera was shaking so much from laughing....

Check out the contrast in the two images of Jed next to the post, he took direction for the pensive shot so well, but only for a millisecond, then he was off again...

I wanted to share a few images from this recent shoot, I feel they encapsulate the beauty of the relationship Kate & Graham share with their boys, Tom & Jake, these guys are such a beautiful family.

They live on the coast & I was fortunate to spend a couple of hours with them recently shooting some family images, Kates parents were visiting from England so they took the opportunity to organise a shoot. Kates Dad is a photographer in England so we had a great time chatting...

Victoria & I had a great time shooting Emma & Emily for Terri's upcoming range of swimmers. The girls were so good, & very professional considering they got smashed a few times by waves, as you can see, so did Victoria...

This was the last shoot Vic & I shared before her leaving us to pursue her dreams in Melbourne....

The past few years having her with us has been fabulous, while we wish her all the very best, we miss her greatly... :-(

Thanks, Emily, Emma & Terri....

I have had the absolute pleasure of photographing Anna each year from when she was very young, I look forward to the shoots as Yoshy, Anna's mum, wants something a little different from the year before to send home to Japan, this year though the difference was Pippy the crazy dog. I managed to keep photographing even though it was obvious how this was going to end, I think these images tell the story...

For our clients who have copies of our Inspired books, Anna is the little girl dancing in the puddles, Inspired, Edition:Essence, Page 9....

Cheers Greg
